I have been a Sunshine Coast local for 35 plus years, and have seen many changes in this time regarding both the landscape and the type of businesses found here. Including the Nicklin Way upgrade from a barely two-lane track to the duel carriage way we have today.

I have three children (two of which have disabilities) which have led me on an amazing life of learning, frustration, and unconditional love. They have also led to some amazing passions, one of which (wheelchair basketball) and the initiation of the Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. This small tournament started 11 years ago and is now the largest wheelchair basketball tournament in Australia.

The love of organising and working in the Not for Profit sector steered me into Event Management and in 2016, when my two eldest children left home, I went back to school (Tafe) and did a Diploma in Event Management. After I graduated it was obvious that working for myself was the way to go for me to fulfil both my parenting and work commitments.

With my experience, passion and training, Let’s Talk Events was born in early 2017, providing a full service event management service to clientele across South East Queensland. I look forward to working with you to deliver an extraordinary event for you or your business. Since 2018 I have been the Expo Co-Ordinator for RDE – Regional Disability Expo. Currently we hold expos in six regions of Queensland – Townsville; Mackay; Capricorn Coast; Fraser Coast; Sunshine Coast and Tooowoomba.
